The IADSA New Management
Certificate Training Class IADSA is designed to provide new Adult Day Service
Directors/Managers a better understanding of the information and tools needed
to succeed. The 2-day course is a comprehensive program, which focuses on
all essential adult day service elements; such as, Daily Operations, Policies
& Procedures, Staff Management, Financial Management, Marketing, Program
Evaluation and Risk Management. However, it is not a replacement of the
Illinois Department on Aging Provider Management Training Program.
The IADSA New Management
Certificate Training Course was originally presented in 1988 and was most
recently offered in 2014-15. The information and topics have been continually
updated to better inform our participants. This course also served as the basis for the NADSA ADS
Management Training Course developed in 1999.
A Certification of Completion is
awarded to attendees at the conclusion of the New Management Certificate
Training Project Sharing at the regional meeting.
